Finally Book No 2 is Here!

I know, I know it has been a long time! Both since I wrote a blog post and since I finished a book! Looking back over my previous blog posts I do note that I had set myself a deadline of finishing my second book by December 2013. Well as you can see it didn't quite happen that way. There is no one reason - life just got in the way and my book went through many versions before I was happy with it.

Unlike The Beach House, it took me a long time to come up with the title this time. My first choice, Saving Grace had to be vetoed because there were so, so many other books with the same title. I had been so set on that title, however, my brain didn't want to entertain other possibilities. After torturing myself with lists and mind maps i just put the title aside for a while and worked on actually getting the book finished. As it happened the eventual title Room 46 came to me when I was going for a walk one afternoon. After all that angst it suddenly appeared in my head. And I am proud to say there is no other book of that title anywhere in the world - that I can find anyway!
